Funny thing and it seems somewhat of a trend nowadays. Even some local and national TV programs seem to do that where I live. Most of what they use might as well be made by 14 year olds on FL Studio... as in a lot of it sounds mediocre and similar (not saying FL Studio is bad).
Just had a listen to the tracks and I gotta say - Damn!
The best thing about the battles is hearing what others do with the same sound sources. There's limitless options. You guys have done the impressive again.
Anybody who says sampling isn't creative needs to be sat down in front of one of these battles
no doubt... real nice beat IIIII. I just bumped a playlist of the tracks that have been posted so far and have to say that I'm really feelin all of em.
I might take advantage of this pushed back deadline and take another crack at this one.
seriously man, I love the sound of your beats, every one sounds like true NY hip hop. I can almost hear some really smooth, deep raps over it already. That track needs an MC
I just noticed 'Euclid' too - didn't know you were a math nut, doc!
Hey guys, this wasn't made on an SP (it was made on Ableton) but I just wanted to get some opinions. Its the second beat I've made like this and I wanted to know what people who listen to music like this think. The track is called "Hopper"

i don't have any problems with that, the track's good, it has different vibe to it then what i expected, but it's good....if you haven't been welcomed yet, welcome to the forums....
