how can i copy patterns on the sp 303

Sup y´all, once again i have a new doubt with this ill board. here´s my question: How can i copy patterns on the 303.

or is it possible to copy patterns?
there´s a video out there which shows you how to copy patterns on the 404, but i understang nothing in that video, first of all because i own a 303 and i don´t know what the f***ck is doing that dude on the board
any dude out there can help me?

The process and the buttons used are exactly the same for the pattern copy trick on the 404 and 303.

you have a pattern on one of the card memory banks-switch it to an internal memory bank by pressing delete and record at the same time...pressing the pad the patterns on...then pressing the pad you wanna move it to,and pressing record again..next you save the pattern by pressing cancel and any of the card memory bank buttons at the same time...then pressing the same number pad that the pattern is on-the record buton will light up-press it and your pattern will be saved.next you have to move the pattern that will still be there back to a card memory bank.lastly,press cancel and one of the internal bank buttons at the same time-the pad where the pattern was that you saved will light up..press it,and you have another copy of the pattern,and you can move it back to the card memory bank next to the original..oh and i said "internal"and "card memory" bank because i'm not sure how many of each the 303 has..but i think your internal is just a/b and your card memory is c/d-just remember the pattern has to be in a/b to be saved.this sounds somewhat complicated typed up,but it takes like 2 minutes,hopefully you can follow what i wrote.peace

does this work for copying a sample too, instead of resampling, like incase you can't cut the end point as good, or you want to have two different eq's of the same sample playin loopin together??

to achieve this, save a sample onto the card as back-up, then re-import it to another pad

so wait, i am still unclear on this, i tried doing what adru said for copying a pattern and hittin cancel and a bank only prompts me witha 3 letter message i can't understand, i also don't have a compact flash card, but i figured i could still save to the internal memory, and then just put the copy into the B bank to test it out, so how do i save a sample on a card as backup, just place it there?? or is it literally like saving a new copy of the same exacty sample thats on the pad and you can swap that out?? and if so how do i copy a sample or pattern, i got a card comin in the mail today so i will test it out again once that comes
