i can't believe how much stuff they have, and how easy they make it to download
how are you guys using acapellas?
i'm tryna cut up some nice lines, load them as samples and tap it out Primo-style (using Gate i guess)
maybe layer a scratch sound under the phrase i slice?

Nooo, please don't do that.Drewzle wrote: maybe layer a scratch sound under the phrase i slice?
Everbody who scratches will notice the difference between the vocal and the layerd scratch. I dunno how much you care 'bout "realness".... but imitating a scratch is pretty whack my man...
(no advice, just some hiphop-heart feelings...)I know you scratch too, so why should you fake around?!
Anyway, have fun...
you're right Wax
my acapella vinyl is sitting there unable to be cut, so i thought i'd try a workaround
but yeah i tried it last night and it sounds fucking horrible
i didn't even layer a scratch sound, just tapped the phrases out
it's like they come outta nowhere without the true vinyl scratch
ah well, it was a learning experience
with my mixer out of action i am trying to compensateWax Inspektor wrote: I know you scratch too, so why should you fake around?!
