question. sample is longer than 8 measures...

Post by whyse0ne »

So I have a sample... that is to long to play in the pattern, and create a drum pattern with. Am I doing this wrong? It's longer than 8 measures, so it cuts off at the wrong time.

ideas :D

my real question is...

... how the hell do I get my patterns to sync up with the loops. I cant seem to get the loop to fit in with the measures of the pattern...

if that makes sense... BAH!

Everything is 4/4 so it'll fit, just cut it into measures and place it on the beat.

word... okay.. by this do you mean chopping it? Or is there a way to cut it in the wave edit mode? I know when you truncate the sample after chosing start and end points it trashes the rest of the sample...

should i make copies of the sample and then cut it up?

Yup, make copies then do start/end points and then truncate each of those samples when they're on the pads.
