forgive my ignorance, but i just bought my 404 yesterday.
when you're importing files from a CF card can you make them lo-fi so as to have more than 6 samples on a bank? everytime i import stuff i can only put 6 samples on a bank.
any help would be much appreciated.

Seems weird. I load far more than 6 samples at a time, all the time.
Have you tried just doing two separate loads? You might not have a big enough memory card to import tons of files, since you need enough room for 2 copies of every file (The 404 converts your wavs to whatever format it uses, but doesn't delete the originals, so you need twice as much room as the filesize of the samples you're loading).
