Who can remember this youtube clip?

Post by wax inspektor »

I'm looking for a youtube clip I've seen a while ago. The link was somewhere in here but I can't find it anymore. the video was about a well known producer, who used the 303 for building his drums and sounds, the mpc for sequencing and in the end he putted all the stuff into a software-multitracker. His style was kinda instrumental hiphop like blockhead, blueprint maybe shadow, too. he looked like a rock dude to me...
his video was very informative for my situation but I didn't saved it to my favourites and I can't remember the name of that guy...
The video was like a studio-tour or album-video-diary or sth. there were a few video of him.... He was going through all this gear and stuff.

I know the description is crap but maybe anyone can help although...?!

Alias is a sick producer...his drums are second to none, there's such a warm tone and choppy rhythm to them

I really admire his work on drums. Those patterns are so god damn sick.

(Off Q: Here is a track from sixtoo, and i wonder if those are real drums or mpc-shit however?)
