What's up everyone?

Uhh...long time reader, first time poster. :)

Just thought I would go ahead and finally say hello, and thanks to everyone on the forums that talked me in to an SP-404 without even knowing it.

I've been recording hip hop for about a year or so now and would just love to start making my own beats(not to mention I'm nearing 1500 or so records). So I did some research on what some of my favorite producers use and was instantly led to the SP and this forum.

Anyhow, can't wait for my 404. Peace.
And since when lyrical skills had to do with killin' a cat? What type of chitlins is that?

the intro to bird vs. cage sounds like Willem Defoe(sp?) speaking in german...diggin' it though, i like the sample at about 1:45 as well. nice track.

Yeah, I can't wait to get my SP. Got some "things" to sell first. I'll definitely be joining in the battles though.

Another fresh 555 owner. This thing is  interesting. I must admit that.
I've been into electronic since Rave E-jay and quit producing somewhere in 2003 because all my reason 2.0 songs sounded thin. Recently I came back to music and start grabing hardware from 90's and here I Am.
Got SP-555 which is my first sampler beside my MIDI synth/sequencer kit.
After 2 days... I better say nights, I like it... hmmm, a lot. It is fun and really inspiering.
I like how my guitar sounds trough it and layering phrases by coincidence
can lead to some frakin' groovie rumble-jumble that is quite impossible to achieve with grooveboxes. I don't know how to play but i try exploit sequencers and I attempt to avoid computer in my homestudio.
PC is like celeron 700mhz and I use it just for final mixdown from ADAT.
This virgin track that will came out my 555 will be quite interesting... at least it sounds cool now ... i will post the link when ready.
I just thought that I'd say hi to everyone here, say a little about bald head behind this nick and a big thanx for all the help text that is already written here.
Cheers, Crumb
