seriously?

just resample or do the pattern copy trick with the sample backup? I'm sure that would work but it would take longer than just resampling

yeah, just export it, copy it with a new name and import the copy. it'll be exactly the same then.

There is a way to copy a sample without having to use Resample. Watch this vid. This trick works with samples as well as patterns.

if it's 1 sample and you need that like 5 times or so, you can export it, and then instantly import it again. No need for a computer or so.

Shout outs to Dr. SP for that trick

oh, i didnt realize you could do it without a computer.

what you do is, export the sample you want a copy of, and then import it. you don't have to take out the card or anything [if i'm understanding correctly]

Yup. It's the Flying Lotus technique, there is a video of a guy on youtube showing exactly how to do it. I watched that like two times while doing it myself and now it's automatic.

The link was already posted, but here it again;

a trick based on an idea of "Flying Lotus" on the MPC forum. This is a turn around that allows pattern duplication without using a computer:
-Put your pattern on the A or B bank
-Do a backup Save
-Put back your pattern on C to J Bank
-Recall the Backup
and voila !
