Sp 303 Sound
Does the SP 303 sound the same as the SP 404? If so, how?

It doesnt sound the same. Similar... I think 303 had a more old school warm sound. Closer to an MPC60. The 404 has a beefier sound. More like and ensoniq sampler.

well..because of its flexibility it really depends on the user. But if you dont apply ne fx and just sample dry the 404 does sounds a bit "fuller" thanks to updated converters. Thats not to say it sounds better than the 303. The 303 has a more vintage sound.
