Coicidentally twas just making beats last night... I'll share them which are some scribbles live drums with mpd midi ->sp404mkii -> sp404 throttling input for monster chump distortion --- my mkii actually doesnt even do effects anymore the buffers just explode in my ears - typically I prefer harsh noises but believe or not spmkii 's poor software buffer glitch is pretty unbearable/unusable for music production purposes even the most hard glitch heads prob would wince duuud. #selfHarm if yr into that. InstaTinnatus Mi Amors. i dont think im going to even bother updating the poopware for my mkii the effects are trash anyways...

Let's say this deadline is 25th June. And submit lossy for listen, but lossless for the archive if possible. Included images are cool too, art, collage, ai slop, 3d rasterization. 1. NO QUANTIZATION
2. NO PATTERNS
3. DONT GET ALL POLISH AND PRETTY WITH DAW - keep it ROUGH/RAW - only subtractive edits from your raw recording (i.e. making it shorter and emphasized on your best moments rather than stitching additiveily to layer up etc).
4. sure u have other gear, but should be oriented/focused around your main SP. Like myne SPs have many Supercollider origin samples but, they are all fucked up on the SP in advance, and only used 2 sps and mpd pads...
5. Maybe what I'm suggesting is showcase your ability to be a percussive musician rather than a beat composer who pretties it all up with midis or patterns and that.. so oriented around live drum/pad stomping/live cuts/ etc.. I think its a good limitation...
6. you must overlay samples / ids/ bumpers/ tags to id your avatar - SP traditions TG style - and you don't have to do live bumpers integrated w/ your actual performance u can layer those in the Daw but thats about the ONLY THING U CAN DO W/ A DAW thats ADDITIVE.
7. beats dont go longer than a minute each (not a hard rule persay but a guidepost)
8. no longer than 6min for a full submission. (with rulebreaks allowed except nothing over 10 minutes). You may submit more than one submission if they are contained expressions. (multi-alias for example, p1,p2)
9. troll shits will be excluded --- evident lack of passion or care for your craft. I wont say lack of skill to be encouraging rather than deterring, but it's more like, if your submission is just taking a big fart and expecting (most especially myself) to listen to it and go word lets zip it up, i wont.
10. This troll exclusionary ish is sonic specific, i dont care if your submitted art is some punk ass portapotty scribbles and got a lil edge to it if yknow what i mean.
