Post by Antee »

http://www.zshare.net/download/11979058d02d8a3a/

yo SP heads this my beat tape made with the SP 404 (sampling, sample editing, chopping and sequencing) and Acid Pro 6.0 (pitching sample, rec beatz and "mastering").
I've tried to add a limiter to resolve my volume / distorsion problem...aniway the mix isn'y perfect, i'm not a pro :? :? :?
I want your feedback cuz i respect this fuckin community and your opinion is important for me.

Light up your spliff and listen 8) 8) 8)

:!: WORD :!:
I also try support you guys by giving your music to friends and play them loud while cruising through my hood... Feels a bit "underground", especially in my spot... :D If I get sth. new in here I'm always so excited like I've bought some new old vinyls.

@ Antee: I seriously love that tape. Really good work on drum sounds! Your snares are so snappy and the kicks are sooo fat AND round! (How do you work on kicks drums man?) I also thought that mix is pretty good!

Nuthing but a dope tape with really no weak beat on it!
Maaaad Props!!! (I liked "Sit. Amara"and "Old Vinyls" most by now. )

btw How long do you make beats big a ? ... and how long have you been working on that tape, man! Are you in at battle #19? :twisted:

edit
:shock: "Squirting" is the shit !!!

tnx wax...for the drums sounds i use the eq efx to equalize them, sometimes i resample them with the lo fi efx and use vynil comp...after comp sometimes i eq or use isolator to adjust the freq presence. Voice Trans sometimes works good if u want a dirty drum sound...i pitched some kicks and snare wit Acid Pro to obtain different hits.
I produced this tape in 2 weeks, i've the SP by December.

I could upload it in .zip file if you want Antee (I'll temporarily host it on my own server in that case ).

edit: Okey, I uploaded the file onto my server. I won't be online tonight so I thought I just upload and remove if it's not okey with you Antee;
