I coincidentally was listening to a bunch of CAN OX last month, which was ironically fitting. 2:40
He bodied those samples and created a tape out of one of the (imo) stinkiest packs i've ever shallow dove into. ..proven evident by my withheld contribution..
Also speaking of stinking up the room.. for the amount of chatty kathys farting in the OG post about rulesz and regulations without contributing was a real letdown.

asha c - cool textures and nice use of the samples throughout. esp like when the melody kicks in at 42 seconds

ol'sama - this one was so nice that you had go back and see if those were actually the samples. nice beat changes and melodies throughout. I esp liked the last section after the verse is done which is prob what won it for me

tgn - love the way you play with the baseline here... def creates a really cool mood. Other subtle samples within make this really dope. The rapping was a nice touch as well

ssohil - Really nice chops to create that melody. Really comes together when that bass hits

this was hard to decide on... i liked everyone's flips pretty much equally

ended up voting for ol'sama tho, a whole tape outta the pure cheez handed to us is something else (+that second beat was killer O_O)

I would've got involved but there wasn't 5 albums worth of stuff for me to pick from! And then there were no full songs for me to loop a bar from, slather in wow&flutter and lo-fi noisearse and put an off-kilter drum beat over and repeat x7. And also, never mind that it was totally a relevant theme, in that the samples were the original factory samples that came with the various 404s...my friends had erroneously started arranging their own pack but then this one was posted by someone who actually won the last round instead, so I threw my toys out of the pram and purposefully didn't take part. That'll teach you!!!

Also, I don't have an SP at the moment. And this is an SP forum.
