SP-303 ERROR

Hi everyone,
My SP-303 is currently experiencing technical errors, and my repair technician has confirmed that I need the firmware file (firmware file with .bin extension) to resolve the issue.

If anyone has this specific .bin firmware file and would be willing to share it with me, I would be extremely grateful.

Did you try the 1.02 update firmware that’s on Roland global site?
It’s attached for reference or you can duck go to the global site and download it
It’s not the bin. The only other thing I saw was a paid download of 1.03 firmware.

My technician has transferred the official PRG file from the Roland website onto an SM card, but the device still shows an ERR state. I’ve consulted other SP‑303 users, and they told me that this error—with no numerical code displayed—indicates the entire firmware is completely corrupted. The only solution is to flash a full .bin system firmware backup extracted from a fully working SP‑303 unit, which my technician has also confirmed.

However, the extraction process can damage a working SP‑303. Since there are many SP‑303 users in this forum, I was wondering if anyone here has experience extracting this firmware before.
I bought this SP‑303 on eBay, and it arrived in this error condition right out of the box.

If it arrived messed up, return it? Unless they pulled the "untested"/no backsies trick.
