I'm just wondering, because I've really been getting into Reason and Ableton Live, who here uses their 404 and software together to make music. Playing with Ableton this morning it looks cool, even though it's a demo, but does look very interesting. same with reason. anyway, what do you do.

I sequence all of my SP-404 loops using Live.

I record all of the seperate pieces of the loops from the SP-404... say hats, snares, bassdrums, samples...and then resequence them into songs using ableton live. That way I can re-effect them again seperately.

i have my 303 going both in and out of my macbook through the rca's. turntable mixer is going into the 303 through the mic-in (w/ volume knob turned ALL the way down). i go out both the 303 and the computer to 2 seperate monitors. now i can record any audio from the computer (internet, itunes, even another garageband track) directly through the 303 and back into garageband in one shot. it basically gives the 303 infinite sampling time. as long as the track i'm recording into is muted, there's no feedback loop
