I think that's called having a style. Altho I know what you mean; I feel the same about mine. I always seem to end up with 3 sections, lol.
Yeah, i think its nice to getnout the comfort zone every now and again!
Anyone else got entries in progress?

Used a 505 and had to just get this one out the door.
Lots of chopping and resampling prepping.
1 pattern w 4 parts- 2x drum and 2x melody/harmony
sequenced then used the 4 tracks/mutes along with real time changes to fx pad assignments to play down a recording. Not as much variation and texture as I'd have liked but nice to let it go. Much nicer process using a 64GB card and a card bank no issue w sample time. Used chop function to separate the drums and played the 2nd pattern live into the sequence that is always fun when you have a few chops of diff lengths you create a beat from but the pad timing/sequence is different than the timing of the beat you hear. That would be interesting to use the -pad- timing as an added template for another beat or accent in the track...

If the poll is not till -tonight- (Sat) I will re-up a diff version

Used 404 MK2, lots of pitching, used chromatic function to play the chords with some filter sweeps and the new DJFX Delay....again, which has become a bit of a go to for psychedelic background noises.
Maybe it's the MkII? Maybe the 'limitations breed creativity' cliche/truism is ringing true when it came to the OG 404? That seemed to be when your style changed.

Yeah I see what you mean! I do love how the mk2 cuts out a lot of work arounds but I suppose the main thing is having fun with it which I definitely am!
