so i'm not sure if this is final yet-but good looking to those that gave me a vote,i really didnt think i'd come out on top...on second and third listens i now gotta say that i think wax inspector had the illest and most creative beat-but everybody came with some really dope stuff.none of the tracks were weak in the least

when should the sample for the next battle be posted by?and let me know what you guys think of a track with a bunch of crazy moog & jupiter sounds with no drums or real time signature..i'd really be intrested to see what cats could do with it.and is it cool to post individual drum hits instead of a break?

anyway,again,thanks...i'm really looking forward to batttles to come..peace
It all goes back to the raps and the breaks/a legacy you can trace straight back to my crates...

Man... I would say no individual hits. Choppin em up is half the fun.

I think there is just a couple hours left till the poll is over. If you do win then you can post the sample ASAP if you would be so kind 8)

yeah man, bring on whatever you got, this is your challenge to us. You can post a drumbreak, individual hits, no drums at all, or anything else you can think of. Its your call, bring the rukus!!!

..alright,see,i wasnt sure if it was actually decided or not,im gonna jinx myself, word up to blast for keping the dream alive,lol...

but yea,if i win-one of the reasons i wanted to post individual hits is 'cause i personally wanna see all the different sounds people get out of them.( if i do,they'll definitely be some ill ass drums) & thats pretty much my same reason for wanting to post some crazy synth shit.i've never even really made a completely synth based beat (keep in mind its not some cheesy ass synths, its a record from the early 70's done completely with various moogs & juipters & shit)i'm trying to learn from this as much as possible, and manipulating sounds besides just some simple filtering and minor effects is definitely not something i have a lot of knowledge on...i come more from the muggs/premo/pete rock/alchemist school as opposed to madlib and flying lotus type styles--but i wanna get to the point where i can do anything-i'm hoping to pick some of your brains after the next battle..

That would be a neat experiment I think. :)

Still, it would be a no chopping thing, but an interesting one for sure.
