Still waiting for that 'ABBA Flip' from Danswift, Ellaguru and Jaytreaze!!!

You're late to the party ...

Everyone and their Swedish Vallhund knows that you're only allowed to flip ABBA tracks if you own the SP-555 ....

For a fortnight... then return it...

Something Crane said today gave me the idea for posting this track when he suggested I was after shacking-up with IIIII. Unfortunately, IIIIII doesn't have what I look for in a woman and has no chance whatsoever of winning SP-USER's heart.

I'll let you into a very personal secret though, because there is in fact a very easy way to tell if SP-USER has the hots for you. The attached song "Diamond In The Dark" is my favourite love song, and if I ever play it to you then you will know that you've well and truly captured SP-USER's strange and lonely heart!

You'd have to be one heck of a woman to manage that so I wouldn't worry about it. I respect you as beat-makers but I draw the line there, that's as far as it goes I'm afraid!

Anyway, perhaps the homies on here should check-out Chris de Burgh's melody and song-writing skills, they are top-notch and I totally recommend the collection album this track is featured on, it's an amazing catalogue of work.

DIAMOND IN THE DARK

Is it real what I feel
Is it love
Is it love that's making me weak
In the night
When she's next to me
I just stumble on my words
And all the things I want to say
Come out wrong
I am lost in a dream
But I know this is more than it seems
I need a little help

Someone put on a love song
To bring her closer to me
All I want is this diamond in the dark
To begin what must be

When she turns at her name
When she smiles
When she smiles I feel it again
In my heart
Across the crowded room
She is just a dance away
And I can feel her like a fire
That's burning strong
She keeps looking at me
And I know this was all meant to be
And then it had to come

Someone put on a love song
To bring her closer to me
All I want is this diamond in the dark
To begin what must be

All I want is this diamond in the dark
To begin what must be
All I want is this diamond in the dark
To begin what must be

You women are all the same, flaunting yourselves, trying to make yourselves presentable to the James Bond types of this world. Well I got news for you babe, cause I've a ring on my finger that makes James Bond gadgets look like Fisher Price toys!

That's right babe, it's sleepy time

Scooter you bloody dark horse, that's a kick arse piece of techno right there and you know very well that people like me will find the uncensored version eventually, which is why you made it!

"Don't be afraid, it's just my work."

I do believe that Scooter were abusing a Roland JP-8000 for this one, but we must forgive them their sins for they also brought people back to life during the shooting of this video.

I started looking into F.S.O.L. on Wikipedia after you posted that track in the ABBA thread. Very nice, never heard of them before, they even remind me of Coil in some ways and I'll definitely be litening to more of their stuff.

YouTube is absolute garbage at detecting what I like.

Foreign affair
Take a trip in the air
To a tropical beach
An island to reach
A new territory
For an intimate story
A lagoon par la mer
It's a foreign affair ...

An interesting fact about Mike Oldfield's albums are that he prefers to bring in other singers to perform the vocals for him (the previous track posted being a perfect example of that).

He says it's because he prefers the vocal part of the track to be left to the singers. Well there's no arguing with his logic, but I do sense some modesty in there, because here's one he actually sung. Not a trace of auto-tune to be heard, and absolutely knocks the socks of those in the charts these days who think they can sing.

If this doesn't indicate how far standards have fallen over the decades, I really don't know what does. The vast majority of artists these days should be ashamed to open their woketard mouths and I really wish they'd stop doing so!

Anyway ... PLAY IT LOUD!!!
