wassup guys, I got a quick question for the OG users on here - when you resample a loop how do you work around the annoying clipping off of the tiny first part of the loop? I normally do a kick before the actual first kick then mark etc. was just wondering if there's a better way. cheers

Have you tried not truncating the loop after you marked it?

I mean like when you resample on the 404og with the recording threshold on and it cuts off the very first part of the loop you record. its very slight but it can cause kicks to have a slight click at the beginning

What I’ve been doing is recording/resampling extra bars or measures of the loop and I just re-mark them.

So for a kick sound, just record a few ms before the kick hits and re-mark the start. I’ve noticed some truncating and timing issues with my 404sx after I truncate the marks. so I never just resample the exact loop. I always include a little before and after and never truncate.

Only thing is you risk fucking yo your loop if you accidentally hit the mark button.

Maybe try resampling again with a compressor with a tiny bit of attack?

I always turn off the threshold for resampling, then it works good for me.
