Voted asha c. I like the way he paints pictures and atmosphere with the styles and sound selections used in his tracks, and this one is no exception.
The visuals are a pleasant bonus that go really well with the mood, cool stuff!

lentil soup for the pitching.
No runners up for me, i'm afraid. Thought all the drums sounded all the same, p, k, p, p, k. Sorry... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Re: Well I guess this is the SPBB335 Poll
Some seriously solid shit this round.
Standouts for me were Noire, IIIII and Asha, with Asha taking it.
TGN: Love the drifty synth and clattery percussion. The vocal sample drop was, well, real gangsta. Well-arranged, lots of layers and variety. Bonus for the road production.
IIIII: Hard-hitting drums from the start. Off-key bass threw me at first but quickly decided I liked it. Verb-y piano loop gave a nice expansive feel, dug the blizzard of notes against the simple bass. Music that takes a swipe at you like a punk cat on a fridge.
Asha: Felt like sinking into a well-worn couch. Breathy flutes, dusty (swung!) beats, tasteful bass and a lot of different textures in the background. It's comfortable and familiar before it erupts in a howl of white noise for renewed intensity. Yes please.

WHAT A BATTLE

The Wayward Pressman:
Your beats always carry your own style and every beat is an unique diamond itself. This one again! I like the clear piano and how the wanky drumbeat fit to the sample. And the scratchy thing coming in the middle is very cool..
KEL:
This is crazy, man! These drums with the heavy cymbals are great! And I love the glitchyness and these unpredictable breaks in your beat, great vibe!
#3 for me
lentilsoup: Like your atmosphere, especially in the beginning and how you worked out the drums sonically. I can recognize mk2's character a little bit.
llll: I celebrate your beautiful beat. This piano melody!!! And I love how you alternate it with these raggae/dub voices. Man, it directly touched my heart! Therefore #1
asha c: When I listened to lllll's sample collage and this pan flute appeared, I was immediately aware that someone had to make something out of this sample.
I didn't dare myself - I normaly make a step around panflute samples, afraid my beat will sound too cheesy in the end...
So great what you did with it! Especially in combination with these pads/choruses and the lofi drums.
And Man, this living background with the bird sounds and the voices and than this overdrive/distortion drop! Wayward said it all in his analysis. Atmospheric, deep, awesome! #2
