Hey everyone, I havent had much time to make some newer shit but Im working on this beat called untitled and its driving me crazy. Ok so im having this problem where I cant seem to add anymore samples because if i do, then it stops any current ones that are playing. Is this anythinjg with polyphony, i dont know but yeah Im trying to add alot more stuff so let me know what u think so far and what my problem ishttp://www.myspace.com/stackowax17

i dont know how to help u on da problem your havin but as far as da beat goes man for da verses i think u really dont need to change a thing. the chorus is still missin some extra spice but i guess dats why u posted this question in da 1st place. sorry i cant be of more help homie

it does sound good! and yeah it sounds like it would be a polyphony prob. are you running your samples in stereo cuz that weighs it down considerably. don't know what sp your bangin' on but it doesn't seem that you are using that many voices. you could always mix down to something and rerecord what ya got as one sample and play over it.

Yea, stereo...and im using a 404...I can always record patterns to my comptuter and transfer them back to the sp but it loses that sound o im not sure what 2 do

try to sample drums and bass sounds in mono.

i reccomend everything in mono unless it needs to be panned hard right/left. this really doesn't change much sound wise. also if you want something gritty in and out doesn't really matter. finally track out; record what you got as stereo file to audacity and then record next track to audacity and another etc...
