Really enjoyed that. I like the heavy Jazz vibe to it, the brass and stuff, and it makes a nice change to hear a Hip-Hop production with original instrumentation played over it like that, cause often it doesn't feel that way. I was getting a bit annoyed with the lack of that sort of thing with a lot of the stuff I've heard, so will definitely be checking-out more of his stuff.

If you're wanting my honest opinion it's no,I don't particularly like the style of Hip Hop you make either,that's not the kind of production I'm into at all and Im happy to be blunt about it and tell you directly, no problem..but that's fine,you do your thing man and I'm sure plenty of other ppl will dig it...despite the fact it's as sloppy,badly recorded and amateur sounding as it is .

Believe it or not I do have a life away from this site ..I ain't got time to run multiple accounts just to troll you buddy .
I've just spent the last 12 months caring for my Father who passed away in January from Alzheimer's and cancer, right now I'm in the process of selling my house and moving cities so you're very much mistaken if you actually think I do .

Oh,and here's another reason why I'm not SP User...have you seen the recent posts detailing the inner workings of the SP-808 ?

Now most people who know me on here from the last few years also know I have two of these samplers but I've never made the kind of lengthy comments about the machine that SP User chose to do.

This isn't a putdown towards SP User btw because I happen to think that what he's taken the time to do with a real deep dive is commendable and can serve as a great source of information to anyone who's considering getting hold of one for themselves but there's no way I'd do that personally, it'd take way too long and I'm too lazy to post that kind of stuff in such a detailed way with the sheer amount of time it would take to be totally honest .

and i definitely do take it upon myself to use an old flip of mine as an example whenever applicable in context because i'm proud of my work as an artist, and my vast body of work isn't something most will comprehensively traverse [save a handful of "stans" lol and these ppl are the type i sometimes worry will stalk and murder me...usually when i talk to them i try to convince them i'm lesser than an unremarkable layman]

this is my passion, the only reason i'm still alive; i share my music to let others [if they wish] experience the same pleasant vibrations i live for and love experiencing <3

i've posted a few of the pieces that were intended for my "magnum opus" [most with acapellas added to them, some with other alterations like slowing/pitching down, bouncing to low-fidelity tape decks, etc.] that i've been "working on" since december 2015 [which consists entirely of SP-303 only/vinyl sample only beats, most produced during 2016] because i worry i'll never get around to completing and releasing it, especially considering my constantly worsening health problems. if it ever gets to the point that i realize i'm actually on my death bed, granted i don't suddenly pass unwittingly, i'm going to post them all, without alteration, for anyone to listen to/use freely <3 that and all of my other unreleased work that wasn't lost when my old computer's hard disk failed

seems your interpretation of that excerpt was erroneous, the acapellas were added only to those specific tracks that were uploaded prior to the actual "magnum opus" release, adding acapellas being the most common alteration i've done to those "leaked" tracks, initially intended for the "magnum opus"

that last link was an unreleased, unaltered track from the "magnum opus" btw

p.s. i've been putting "magnum opus" in quotes because i know it'd be incredibly pretentious if i actually viewed any of my worthless, frivolous works that way

Couldn't agree with you more Jaytreaze..this was a cool idea for a thread.

But this is SP Forums and we have one particularly narcissistic member who'll use any excuses to threadcrap in order to promote their own music or personal agenda unfortunately.

How he actually came to the completely misguided conclusion that I'm somehow SP User from me linking a track that SP User liked and then commented on is anyone's guess.
