Don't go hosting it on reddit or anything like that FFS, some of us aren't members of data-mining sites like that and would not be able to vote.

You might as well just go ahead with it as normal and see how it goes. It's not as if the members here aren't aware by now of what is going on, so I doubt anyone will hold any problems against you this time, and for all we know it might not impact participarion in the least, but there are a few regular members haven't posted since it started.

Could be down to simply not posting, or it could be down to not being able to get in. I tried your suggestion earlier but had to change it back cause it didn't work. But anyway, like I said, personally I reckon you should go ahead as normal, see how it goes but be extra courteous if a member decides to join in but fails to meet the deadline if they already announced they are participating.

When i log in with "good old" internet explorer, there is no login-problem anymore. I can switch back to firefox or chrome then.

This bug has been killing me too. Locked out for days. Zindan date trick didn’t work, nor did TGN’s explorer trick. Nor did clearing cache/history etc. What seemed to work this time was disconnecting from wifi and using phone’s cell service. Some serious weirdness going on here.

i don't like the idea of bugging marc about this dead forum but man he should really consider just throwing a couple ad spaces on the left and right of the screen so it can pay for whatever the server space costs and give him some extra passive income on the side, maybe he'd be more inclined to do some maintenance on the site after that

New Trick: Delete all cookies from sp-forums.com in your browser, then you should be able to login successfully again.

I don't think that's the problem. Personally I use Firefox and I have it set up to auto-clear all browser history, data, and cookies each time I close the browser. This means that whenever I restart Firefox it is already cleared of the cookies and any other shit it picked-up during the previous browsing session.

In effect, Firefox is a fresh browser each time I restart it.

Really time for admins, to do something. Currently i am logged in via my phone, cause login does not work on my laptop for a few days now. Little bit worried of the situation when i want to post my beat on a spbb and can not login then on any device....

Maybe email urself the beat and upload to a file share on phone or upload beat to soundclound and take the link from phone and upload? Could work for now:)
