What are the files in .spo format into my SM card?

Unfortunately today I discovered that with the format of the card I erased the chops of many beats I had made.. without to save them.
Is there any way to bring them back?
Also if i copy this .SPO format files, in my pc from the card, is possible to load them again in 505?
