Hi guys
I bought it in april, used just 5/6 times for few moments; now after some months i'm seeing that it doesn't turn on; i' ve tried the same adapter (9v, 500ma) for the Volca Modular and it works on it, so i believe that the problem is on the Volca Fm. I've tried batteries and the Fm turns on.
Have you expérienced something that?
Thanks
Ps
I've called the shop where i bought it and they told me the machine is in warranty so it's ok but before sending the machine back to them for repairng, i xould like to see if there are tricks.

Re: Kog Volca Fm acdc issue
Just replied in the other thread, didn't see this one, but anyway, since it still works on batteies it sounds as if you might have a broken solder joint on the power jack. To fix it, maybe just open it up and re-heat the solder joints connecting the power jack.
As it's under warranty though, probably best to just send it back unless you want to avoid the inconvenience and do it yourself.

Re: Kog Volca Fm acdc issue
Ok thanks man
Soldering is not my stuff anymore, i've just made some circuitbending some years ago...
I'll wait and see if i find some solution or a tutorial somewhere and then I'll see what i can do with the shop (very far from where i live)

Re: Kog Volca Fm acdc issue
at the end i discovered that volca Fm doesn't accept less than 1000ma: the prblem was that i tried with psu of 300 or 600 ma, too weak for the Fm.
So problem solved.
Thanks
ps
