I ordered my 404 from b and h… dude told me I should expect to receive it March 22nd..

Yeah, those guys are optimistic. They say a far fetch date all the time but when it comes it comes. My friend in NYC also ordered from B&H day one and still hasn't got word but if Philly has them, they have reached the East coast at least.

I cancelled b &h and went to sweetwater. Their next shipment is 2000 units and they are going out mid January if not sooner… as of right now there are 150 left.

Germany and Netherlands are no problem to ship since they are right across the Atlantic from me. I had packages arrive in 5 days. I'm in Puerto Rico btw.

Still awaiting notification from the 2nd seller, but they estimate around Nov. 30th. Small music shop but I support them

Heads up for the guerrilla buyers in the USA that seek to buy an MK2 without preorder.

ProAudioStar.com operates without preorders. So the minute they go up, its first come first served. I just contacted them, they still expect their shipment sometime next week of 1st batches. Gotta be quick on the trigger to get one, only 20 will be up for grabs.

But i also appreciate the idea of a sp beat battle! Would be one of the most epic battles in sp-forum history! It needs to have the hardest and strictest rules ever, in my opinion!

Respectfully, I would like a worthy candidate. I don't know everyone here personally thats why I mentioned a beat battle to settle it.

Out of my own heart, I can only think of Star-One, she helped me a lot in the beginning and got me on African radio. But she been MIA, possibly deported back to Congo.

If I conclude a battle, it will be one 4 second sample of something random from my vault. Contestants will have to pull out drums, bass and melodies just from that single sample and make something epic out of it using a single sampler (SP or Volca or ES2 etc.).

Only hinder that may arise from this, is MK2s popping up heavily like here in the US. We expected them by the tens, but they coming in by the hundreds. I wouldn't blame you guys if they arrived locally than getting one overseas though.

I contacted the seller and Roland gave them a Dec. 19th ETA, but we'll see, Guitar Center told me the same thing just on Monday, and yesterday I got the shipping notice. Unlike GC, this shop is a little one in NYC, so may take a couple days.

Or I can just post it up in the Marketplace here, first come first serve. No reserves because last time I had 3 buyers and they lolligagged for weeks. You got the $$$, its yours.

I had a call today with the german shop who offers these units through reverb. It is "pro music tools" from munich. The guy does not know if the units will really arrive at 15th of dec. And he did not know how many mk2s they will actually receive... and a lot of people preordered...so did u, jaytreaze?

I don't know what to do. In the end i simply wait for greens epic battle or when the 404mk2 is in stock everywhere.
