sp-forums is dying / new members?

Dear SP-Fam,

it hurts my heart to see how extinct our forum has become. When I bought my beloved OG 404 10 years ago, this forum was my N # 1 website. Such great artists, so much know-how, jointly produced albums and so much fun in the beat battles ... i wish this time back.

Can we work together to get new members? Couldn't we advertise our community on other sites (redit, fb-groups ..)? Invite new members to breathe new life into this legendary forum?

Reddit, Facebook groups etc would definitely take away from this environment but I reckon YouTube is a massive reason too. More people following creators rather than banding together here.

With the release of the mighty 404 mk2 the amount of sp-users all over the world will increase and the chance of revitalize this forum is definetly there...

is that really still a problem these days? we're also blocking producers/interested people from signing up exactly when they have the exciting rush to join this great forum and resource site.
Once they lose that initial buzz, it could be hard to attract them back to sign-up

Sure, society-destroying shit-holes like Facebook are a major part of the problem, and if you want to divert its SP-using members here instead, just post this link to all your SP-using friends on Facebook, that is of course assuming Fuckerberg hasn't banned the link.
