can we not use multiple SPs? also, we can't just adjust the volume with DAW upon finishing? usually that's what people say is you can only add a limiter in DAW to get it at the right volume before uploading

btw, DM me on IG @lameflip so i can get you your $10 for winning the last SPBB!

Can't, no music-making hardware to hand at all at the moment, and I can't be bothered with software (that's why I'm going strictly hardware only).

No biggie, I enjoy hearing what others come up with anyway and I can still do that even without gear. Your sample isn't too different to the one I used in SPBB #326 in some respects, so I'm looking forward to hearing what the homies here do with it. Sadly there was no love for the one I chose, but it looks as if you've picked a good one here.

Hi guys, this is mine entrance https://we.tl/t-vIVyvmXTi6 rugged and raw straight from the 404 OG recorded in a DAW with just a limiter on the master for the loudness.

I had a lot of fun with these samples, i'm really curious to listen the other beatz!

Peace

Rugged and raw alright, that was tough!

That’s the vibe I often aim for but can never seem to hit the mark.

I’m still waiting for my SP to arrive , so just for fun I’m going to give this a go on the Koala sampler.

lol here we go:

Somewhat inspired by Antee, here's my rugged and raw unofficial entry straight from the Koala sampler with no limiter, no nothing! Apologies in advance to your ears :)

For some reason, I gravitated toward the second drum sample but after making this I feel like I missed a trick by ignoring the first one.

Might have another go with the first drums and see what comes out.

Also, I previewed the track in Soundcloud with the 'Dolby Mastering' option and it does clean up alright...sounded heaps better! But I'm not paying for that, best I learn to make and mix beats better myself for starters :)
