I don't even know who he calling old. Though I been here since 2009, so if old in that respect, whatever floats his boat I guess :|

Old is when you still recommend an SP303, a Renaissance and soundcloud.

I remember buying the SP202, DR202, MC505, and SP808 back in the day brand new each. So I may be the oldest.

I had to ask since none of the people Zindan has these conversations with appear to have reached even middle age, nevermind "old".

As far as I'm aware we're all in our fourties (those of us he's ever called "old" I mean), and I include myself in that statement since I'm only in my fourties myself. Can't speak for the rest of us, but hey, I've still got a full head of hair (unlike a certain someone on here I could mention who claims he's balding at 25). I mean at that rate, the dude's gonna be bald as Headphones' favourite clam by the time he reaches 30!

They say life begins a 50, so at that rate it means we still have upto another decade to wait until we even reach 50, nevermind reach an age where we'll be considered "old" - LMFAO!
You’re never gonna guess what I turn Jan 14th 2022. 49. So I am that old. And lemme tell ya, it sucks to look back on everything I could have done, or meant to do but never got around to (travel, start a family, etc) but I try not to regret too much.

You should have seen how expensive gear was back in the day! I remember when the MC303 dropped in 96. How much did Roland want for that silver garbage? $750 new! It’s barely worth $75 now! (In my opinion). I remember when Korg had a line called iSeries(something cheesy they briefly did for a year). It was trying to make their stuff with the simplicity of a Casio, but for high Korg prices at the time. Epic Fail. Korg couldn’t get people behind those synths and I don’t think people want them now.

But that's even worse, you shouldn't be balding at 24, you need to lay-off the radioactive water and get some distilled water and kale down your throat and quick about it bro!

24 years old, wow, you're an old man compared to Jaytreaze
He's like a half-decade younger than you are, old man!

You'll be needing a walking stick and a pair of thick pebble glasses soon, otherwise how will you see the pads on the SP-404MKII we all know you secretly ordered?

too much testosterone, too much stress, and unfortunate genetics [all the men on both sides of my "family" are bald]

family is in quotes because i don't know any of them, so the term lineage would probably be more appropriate

but haha funny joke, i know i'm still in my prime, be jealous if u want

The background looks like The Dark Crystal meets Bladerunner!

My two favorite flicks

Urban train yards. One of the things I miss doing in NYC. Just chilling, making art and exploring the deep underground passages.

The Dark Crystal (The Original 1982 movie) is one of my favourite movies of all time as well

Saw it at the Cinema as a kid and own it on various formats now. I even have the limited edition soundtrack and I tell you what bro, ask The Chamberlain what he thinks of the new Roland SP-404MKII and I'm pretty damn sure he'd reply with something along the lines of ...

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
