Having now seen the photos and specs unless they do something to seriously fuck this up I think it will be the the ultimate SP-X0X, the OLED screen is something I’ve been hoping they’d add for ever since I used the one on my OP1 and for anyone worrying about editing waveforms on it I’m sure you’ll be fine as the OP1 screen is tiny but you can easily edit samples due to its clarity.

Well I'm DEFINITELY buying one, those features listed on the previous page are VERY nice!

I still have my doubts about the display used (I think it's the wrong aspect ratio for starters), but as Cutty Danks just pointed out, I suppose it's understandable considering waveform editing and all.

Haven't decided yet what synth I'm going to buy to feed it, but if what I read somewhere about it having a MIDI OUT is true (and if it's on proper MIDI DIN), I think I'll be pairing it with a Behringer 2600 (always wanted a nice analogue).

So does anyone know when it will be released?

So apparently it was “leaked” accidentally on SamAsh, and the response was so immediate that they were forced to take it off a few hours after posting! Some even got theirs pre-ordered even!

It finally has midi in/out, but it’s those mini Jack to midi cable thingamajingys. Also, no more RCA ins/outs! Yep. It’s 1/4” ins/outs now. But there’s a USB power supply and DAW support right inside.

Yes, there are new effects! A tape simulator. If you want that tape hiss or warmth, it has it. Any of you play guitar? It’s got a guitar amp/sound for the input in.

So looks like we all want one. I do.

32 polyphony and Pitch/Speed like the old SP202.
