Clarification of loading times

Post by Lindsay »

Hi All,

I'd just like to clarify the approximate loading times for the 404.
Let's say I have a few compact flash cards filled with samples that I want to load between tracks whilst performing...how long can I expect this to take.

Thanks for the help.

I have a 555 but Im pretty sure its the same, ie nearly instant.
Bare in mind that I only have 1 cf card but still there is really no loading, just insert card and flip the power switch.
Hope that helps.

yeah
all samples are pre-assigned to the pad they were recorded to

i think on the SP-606 it's different and you have to assign the card's sounds to the pads once it is in.

if u mean importing files that are not already assigned to pads.. maybe 2-3 minutes if your going to fill every pad.
