Playing Songs In Different Tempos SP404SX

Hey guys,

I’m newbie here. I'm sorry if this topic already came up here before but I just purchased my first SP404SX to use it as a backing track player for my new project. I now read somewhere that all the songs in SP404SX has to be in same tempo? Is it true?

I like to be able to go from song to song smoothly, to different tempos. All the songs will be produced in Ableton and plan to upload it to SP404SX on each pads.

Is it possible? Thanks in advance!

Dunno where you read this, but it's absolute crap. It's a sampler, you can put whatever you want, in whatever tempo you want it to be

They are taking about the pattern sequencer and midi syncing.

But if you are just loading full songs on the pads and djing them by hitting the pads, then it has nothing to do with the sequencer.
