madvillians 'monkey suite'

Hah, i was just listening to the chrome children compilation, and i noticed the madvillian track 'monkey suite', takes full advantage of the compression, noise level and wow flutter of the vinyl sim. i dunno why im posting this....

anyways, theres a song on becks new album entitled '1000bpm', where he filters the track through a couple of the 404's effects simultaniously. Theres a section where hes clearly messing with the lo-fi and bpm looper.. i thought that was also cool.

anyone else notice any of the 303/404's effects in other songs

i think you could be right but it could be anything else as well though. but madlib is probably using his "little baby".

most of the madvillain stuff is done on madlib's 303 as you can hear.

the beck stuff could be something else. but you can clearly hear the vinyl sim on the monkey suite track. Just the way the wow flutters and the random spurts of the signature artificial pops...
