Batteries Don't work but the power cord does.

I have been using batteries in my SP-202 since I got it and only yesterday it started to not work with batteries and only working with the power cord. I tested the batteries and they still had a good amount of juice in them. Can anyone tell me if you had a problem similar to this and/or how to fix it?[/color]

If you take the back cover off you will see two metal prongs sticking out on the inside where the batteries go.
If you look at the board where those prongs press against you will see two blobs of solder. They more than likely have deep grooves in them from years of the prongs rubbing back and forth.
Heat up the solder add a little more to the blobs, put the case back together and it should work again.

Working on a DR-202 tonight it dawned on me that they have the same pads.
