That was tough! Went with LowKey but Sleepynum, Fishaman, IIIII, LoopmantrA all fire!!!

Thanks for the dope samples Kel. I made a couple other beats with them so might put them up some time.

please, no one vote for me. i am withdrawing my song from the beat battle. someone has accused me of "buying votes" or some shit? when i was just making fun of him. see the spbb301 thread for reference. i don't have anything to prove, and i don't care if any of you on this forum want to vote for my beat. i already know my song is sick, and i don't need anyone to confirm that for me. ego is a very destructive thing, huh?

lmao so you are removing your beat from the battle because of me, a "wannabe trendy "lofi hip hop" jockriding bullshit" (to quote your words) who asked for feedback on his beats ?

like you solicited, i gave you honest feedback on your tape. i've never heard any of your other works. i gave you what you wanted, kid. what's the problem here? like i said, i don't have anything to prove. the only reason i participated in this spbb (i already knew i wouldn't get votes; the people here absolutely despise me) is because the users on this forum have been asking me for years to do so, literally. they were talking shit and calling me out telling me to get in the arena if i was a producer worth a damn. i don't have anything to prove, so i never did. i only did now to be a good sport, to give them what they asked for, just like i gave you exactly what you asked for.

i guess people ask for things they don't really want.

There was something I liked about every entry:

Devee - nice textures and dope trippy feel. Reminds me of doing nitrous oxide for some reason!
Lowkey - dope swing and triumphant/melancholy vibe. Speech sample fits nicely over the beat.
Asha C - nice grit to the drums and sinister atmosphere. Clear sounding mix and appropriate use of sub-sonic.
Teewok - great work layering the different melodies and unpredictable change-ups.
South Paw - clever chopping of the different melodies to make them sit together nicely and overall fresh beat.
Sleepynumb - dope sound processing and nice evolution of the beat from grimey to mellow.
Yakzuu - sick bassline and a fresh minimal approach.
Loopmantra - clear mix and great sound selection to build a sinister vibe.
EllaGuru - dope textures and a unique, psychadelic atmosphere.
Zendan - hypnotic, trance-inducing vibe and original approach. Immortal Technique on codeine!
Illll - grimey beat that jumps out of the speaker, every element in the mix sounds clear, full and fat.

In hindsight I feel that the volume levels in my beat let it down a bit.

My vote goes to Illll

It's battles like this one where I honestly believe we should have a two points system.. Not just because of the number of the entries, which is awesome and should be always like this, but because of the quality of the tracks, man, fkn hard on deciding for just one

I'd say that Teewok, SouthPaaw, Zendan and Fishaman moved me the most on first listening, right off the bat
Voted Teewok!

Great round fam

Devee - like the continuos high pitch sound. cool but out there like the picture suggests. nice work
Low Key - I had sampled that same part. SOmething ill about that sample..like a tape fast forwarded. liked the bass tones u had throughout
Asha C - Ur drums sounded nice and crunchy.. Beat has a cool dark vibe to it. can def spit battle raps over this
Southpaaw - like how that started out.. very ill chops and nicely put together
YakZUU - Drums knocked pretty damn good. Having only the bass gave it a cool vibe
LoopmantrA - if the zombies from walking dead had an anthem it would be this. haha i like it. def paints that picture for me.
EllaGuru - dope use of the effects to create the dreamy melody u got going. dope
Fishaman - like the bounce this one has.. nice and subtle melody.. the raps fit perfect
Sleepynumb - such an ill sound you had repeating throughout.. the drums suited it perfect.. perfect juggling of sounds. cool ass beat
Zendan - ill arrangements sounded real nice with the raps. i liked the changeup around 27 secs
IIIII - this one is heavy woah. loved the bravehearts chant in there haha

A bit of a tie between sleepynumb and IIIII for me. I'll take sleepynumb
