We love to hear what you make! What’s your setup? Which SP(s) you using? You sample from vinyl or whatever sounds good? (Cd/mp3/tape, etc). And feel free to ask any questions you have. Most the time someone knows the answer.

I love the work process on the 404sx especially the sequencer and I'm still within my first year of using it so I learn quite a bit throughout the days. Other day I worked out a processing method on my kicks before making the beat so when I compress in the end it doesn't turn "poppy" and stays punchy. I have a link to my tumblr with a preview of the first beat/intro to my second tape (I'm so far away from finished especially throughout all this corona shi). In eagerness to have a project out I kinda rushed my first project so its a bit messy and sloppy, not quite where I want it to be and I didn't experiment too much, I kept it simple. Think of it as a pilot project testing the waters and sounds , but I guess everyone starts somewhere. Funny how my second tape will serve as a more formal and refined project, sound and representation than my first but thats the way it goes I guess

Sample wise man, anything that twigs my ear and I gain inspiration from, so far has been vinyl rips online and some old VHS films, classic and low budget  . Got a turn table sorted so shouldn't be long until i properly get into digging.
