need help with setting my 404 as outboard fx w/ ableton live
So I bought this 404 that I want to use as a outboard FX. I connected the I/O with my audio interface, then in Ableton Live configeration I turned on 1/2 in and 3/4 out. And then I thrown a external audio effect in the track, have the Audio To set to 3/4 and Audio From set to 1/2. lit the EXT SOURCE pad. However there is no sound comming through my headphone, I see there is signal bumping 3/4 and nothing 1/2.I plugged my headphone in audio interface, don't have my monitors with my atm so no monitors plugged in. If I turn up the input level pass certain lvl it generates a very high pitched noise. I don't know what I've done wrong, I've upload photos for additional illustration. I appreciate any help, thanks in advance!!

THANKS man, this helped, I plugged my headphone into 404 in order to hear it, I had to crank the output gain and input lvl in sp404 in order to get some volume(still quiet but better) and sound is distorted, but at least im figuring something out.
