Fianlly got mine

Post by Bon Dake »

Right i finally got my 555 and love it, kinda new whayt to expect as ive used a 303! i know people hate it but i love the sequencer on it.

however i got a gripe that someone might be able to help with

when i record the first bits of the track i set the quantize and length and everything and do my thing, then i stop the sequence, maybe to record some other samples, then come back to record the the sequence and the quantize is suddenly set to off again. i know its a small thing but, i keep recording without switching it back on.

ya.. thats pretty annoying... but it resets everytime :( I had to get used to that when I went from the 303 to 404. B4 u know it u wont even notice that u set your quantize :)

If you record it to an external source and then sample that, in that case yes you can.

I don't think you have to sample to an external source. I've got one of the preset patterns sampled in a user bank. But of course this is just audio so if your talking MIDI info too then yeah that'll probably have to be external first.
