Holy fuck I got that itching again... Last time I passed on Akai mpc live, mostly because people were complaining about it glitching and freezing mid performance - dunno if this is true, but I took it for granted anyway - plus I eyed arturia drumbrute impact for some time, so I went with it and spent the rest on weed
But this baby is compact and looks cool and... Damn. Got that itching again..

Lacks a few of the eatures of the Live .. but looks most appealing

I'm sold on it already .. Akai seem to have ackowledged the marqee styling of yester year

I imagine they are looking to patch glitches in the software . From my understanding, it runs the same software base as the Live

I think as soon as I get my MPC1000 back from the pawn shop, gonna sell it on Reverb.com to cough up the cash to get one. I can’t figure out the MPC1k, and for the most part, the new MPC1 smokes it like a birthday candle. Kinda will be sad I didn’t spend more time with the 1k, and it’s time to move forward.
