Thanks guys for the votes ! tbh, I'm not particulary proud of the beat I've made, the accapella does everything...
@devee: for this battle, I remember tweaking the samples a lot/ applying a lot of effects to finaly find something "acceptable". That's why the process is weird. Sometimes, I do that for an hour and just have a poor bad loop. When I don't chop and just take a loop, I'm trying to change it with effects (and new combos), sometimes it works, but sometimes not.
About EQ, I don't eq the beats that much (often up the bass and high freqs a bit).
It's vinyl sim shit mayne...
For the resampling, it's true that it removes quality but when you wanna apply effects over effects you don't have other choice (eqing after this can "removes" the loss of quality).
For the aesthetic, I don't now, I think in every process of creation, the more you do, the more you know what you like and what you don't, so your style is more and more defined (it also depend of your mood, what you listened recently, etc.)
