FX Location (Now Invalid) Please help

Hi,

I bought an SP808ex recently. I love it I'm a glad theres a community of likeminded people out there like this one.

I wonder if anyone could help me.

I can't resample with fx. When I went to FX Location I'm getting a (now invalid) message. Any suggestions?

Do I need to re-format the disk and taste bitter defeat?

I'll admit, I'm confused... I'm not sure I've ever seen that screen before, let alone a 'now invalid' message..??

Shift+mute will take you to the Mix Common menu. This is where you can set FXLoc.
"Ins Master" is for playing with effects
"Ins Record" is for resampling with effects
If recording in via Aux (cue/D) jacks, scroll further down the menu to see that 'In' is set to "REC <or PLAY>"
