Hi guys,
i am a bit confused about my new SP404 A specially process during resampling or recording ext.source into it. It happens that when I finish resampling/rec. there is no the whole section recorded, the small part at the end is missing.
Is it a memory card issue or internal problem? I use 1GB Kingston or original Lexar card.
Thank u for a help.
memory card issue ??

Re: memory card issue ??
Hi!
I've had the exact same issue, at times, with my 404sx.
The thing is, it doesn't always do this, just sometimes. I mean ????
Anyway, I usually record an extra half second or so to be safe, then trim the sample afterwards. This trimming can work a bit faster if you reverse the sample before adjusting the end point, since end point will then be heard first when sounding the pad... super quick if you just need to trim off the kick from the start of a new bar, for example.
Hope this makes sense and helps.. have no idea why the 404 cuts off like that instead of just recording until you hit stop. Weird!
