well, i'm glad i finally checked out this thread.
props to all y'all for avoiding the usual net garbage of flaming and boasting. this place is an exception to almost everything i've seen online. much respect to you all.

haha naw, I'm just playing. This is by far one of the best forums I've ever seen. I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, but much props to everyone here for keeping the dialouge civil and helpful at the same time. It truly feels like a creative community rather than a cesspool of assholes and trolls, which is what many hip hop production forums are.

i barely ever even use my sp404 for hip hop. i play in a band. but i feel right at home with alla yous. so comfy here man.

i can honestly say that this board produces some of the best music ive heard anywhere. i regularly bump shit that ive downloaded from here.
if you look at boards like futureproducers or even mpc-forums and see peeps with studios worth a couple of Gs and they ain't even making h33t like you see here.

Yeah, that's something I'm often wondering about. I mean, I guess there are newbies everywhere, but there's even some folks that have like 2000+ posts on those forums and have been active for years, but their music doesn't even come close to some of the SP-404 pros over here that don't have several grands worth of equipment.

Seems like a terrible waste of money on their side, as they either got no time or simply no talent.

Yeah, I haven't been around here for too long but I already feel quite comfortable. I only wish I had a faster internet conneciton so I could check out some more of your tunes and participate in the battles (which are a awesome feature going on here!).

Indeed this is a wonderful community to be involved with. When I'm not working on projects, I always check out this site. And as stated some of the coolest people frequent this board. Unlike other places where there are a lot of sarcastic smart asses. I know for a fact that I have been helped by these forums, and I try to help the newbies out whenever I get a chance. Because we all where noobs at one time or another. But yeah, much props to all of the homies on this forum. Its just a dope place to be. Peace, Duss.
