Beat flip challenge

Yo fam!
Here's a challenge I did a while back, asked my FB friends to provide me every day with fresh tracks to choose from, and do the beat flipping.
The idea was to flip one beat per day, using only the sounds from the proposed track ofc.
Recorded everything off YouTube directly into the SP 404 sx, and then chopped and flipped it in a day
Sadly lasted only one week, since I had tons of obligations, but it was still hella' fun

Give it a listen, when you find the time, and tell me honestly what you think.
Like, would you have done something differently and so on, I'd love to hear some input

Actually man these joints is quite different from my taste bt its not horrible for your style. It sounds like yu can put together a mix for some sort of anime series in my opinion bt dnt mistake, they dnt sound bad. We're di samples randomly selected?

This was totally an exercise, friends left links on my Facebook wall every day, and I picked the song with most likes, then flipped it. So yeah - totally random samples, most of those I wouldn't pick anyway, but that's what made this challenge even more interesting and harder
I don't think in terms of genres either way, when I make music - I just go where the samples lead me.

I think some of these turned out nice, all things considered. Some are quite average though. Definitely need more practice with the SP

Hah, you got me though. I really am more of ambient / soundtrack kind of guy, when fiddling with the SP, not always, but most of the time.

Excellent & np man.. I give everyone a chance by listenin, we all deserve it, & yu did well wid em. As I've mentioned these challenges gives di sp community somethin to do & its always fun to participate.. Maybe soon more of us will engage when we find time. Again man excellent!
