i'm also going on 4 weeks clean from heroin, exercising again, eating right, and sleeping on a regular basis.

So proud of you!! It's going to be tough & hard to stay positive, but as you see positive changes in yourself it will motivate you & get easier.

I know our journey's are different, but I always used drugs to escape.... I just wanted to be happy, but not dealing with my issues & escaping instead made the issues worse & worse. Once I started working on myself & battling the issues instead of escaping them it was a powerful feeling. I've been forever changed. Not only do I look at life completely different now, working on my issues taught me how to deal with things... without using drugs. Things got easier & easier. I became happier & happier.

thank you shari, i appreciate everything you've done for me while we've been on these forums. and yes, i was using drugs to run away from my issues as well. doesn't work out like that.

nah, it was obvious the entire time he was making slights at me for absolutely no reason. he didn't have to say any of that SPECIFIC shit about me if all he was doing was trying to talk to the new member.
