loading samples off compact flash card question/problem

When loading wav samples off a compact flash onto the 404, aren't they supposed to load in alphabetical order?
I renamned all my samples like
a808kick
b808snare
c808clap
and so on, but when I load them, they dont come out in that order.
Can anybody help me this?

Name them according to the bank then the pad number. So, if you want a drum kit on Bank A, you could name them like this:

A_09--Kick.wav
A_10--Snare.wav
A_01--Crash.wav
A_05--Low_Tom.wav
