Library Records at the local Thrift Shop
Sifting through a big stack of records in the thrift shop in the sma town where I live (2000 peopleish).. and don't I come across six De Wolfe library LP's all in pretty nice shape for a buck a piece. Some of the jackets are beat up but the wax is pretty minty. The first one I drop the needle to is a drum break. That's a good day.

That's a cool find dude!
I was fortunate enough to grab a bunch of the green KPM series library records some years ago from a market stall - luckily the guy who sold them to me didn't know what they were so I managed to pick them up for peanuts...happy days indeed.

That's awesome dude! Gotta love a good find. I found a copy of Piano Viberations from the KPM label a few years back for a buck, now I'm realizing that particular record is worth some coin!

Re: Library Records at the local Thrift Shop
Nice. I just found a better place for digging in Seattle at Everyday Music in the Capitol Hill era. Records for a quarter, 50 cents, buck, i May just ignore the thrift stores now, since too much of it i have no interest in. EM has got waaaaaay more variety. But when you find a goldmine, its worth sharing.
