That's dope man. I think the OG edition is where it's at. Ironically, I think the 404 lost something when it went to that 'perfect lossless digital sound quality' imo.

I was thinking to myself “What if I had the og, SX & A...”Would they all be THAT different from each other? I guess if the SX & A are more polished, you use those for what you need crisp. And you use the og for warmth/dirt. All I know is, I have a slim chance to layaway a PO 33 AND a MS-1. But if I can’t get either, only 1, or I get there and they’re both gone, won’t really matter since I’ll finally have a 404.

that's why i got the 303 and 202

although, if you're strict analog-ist like i am, you can make some crazy ass shit sampling vinyl lossless.

i only use the SX to get shit on my computer from my other samplers now lol, and to store drum samples and such

the 404sx and the 404a are the same exact machine so please don't buy both of them lmfao
