For me it is :
-ted because your stuff is really jazzy and unusual (fav)
-Bliggedi because I like the beat especially the 2nd (lo-fi) part, the outro freestyle is a good end.
I listened to all these a lot. Also played them for my gf who has great taste in music and an ear for realness... introduces me to a lot of stuff I never heard before and gives me some critical feedback on my own stuff.
Number one spot is Teddy P for me. Nice and loose feel, human not mechanical is what I like.. plays around but has a pulse/groove. A little understated and simple but still interesting musically.
Number two is ashaC. A basic loop that could have used some switchup, and while I didn't care too much for the electronic noises it sounded like a beat that could have been really perfect with a really talented rapper. Loved the kick throughout, a great bump on that.
Cheers PLO for the ruleset this week, was cool to get get a chance to try out some outside bass/synth in an SP battle. I hope we can have a no-quantize or no pattern-sequencer battle soon.. bring the music back....or maybe compulsory pattern/quantize and we all make some EDM at 135+ BPM..
Went with Pillow. Lif's was 2. Asha 3. Thought Plo had the dopest beat. Wish it were longer if anything. Some dope experimental sound altogether from everyone.
bliggedi: Nice smooth jazzy vibe, loving the bass line!! I found the vocal snippets a dark contrast and felt it didn't really fit that well, of course thats just my personal taste! Overall though great beat!!!
LoopmantrA: Loved the drums from the start and that 1970s funky detective movie vibe!!! The vocals fit really well too. Loved the guitar work too.
Teddyp: Otherworldy vibe! the vocals fit well but I wanted the beat to "kick in" if you know what I mean!! I think more time with this one wouldve really developed the track.
Pillow: The intro was crazy, dark and moody. Loved the atmospheric feel with all that hiss.
Lif: Another other wordly vibe from this one, again with real atmosphere and mood. Definitely movie soundtrack material!!!
IIIII: HAHA at the lil intro!!! nice smooth vibe and loved the bass as well as those little reverberated hits that came in and out!

sorry to not parteciapate to this battle, sounds were interesting but i had busy damn tymes...
It came down to lif and asha c for me... and as I was trying to figure out which was first and which was runner up I remembered it’s a 2-vote round of battle. Great range of styles being represented! Also really liked the vibe of bliggedi’s track.

just voted for loopmantra. It's my kind of style, i like it. Second would have been lif with the biggie vocals. but the vote was done and that's how it goes.

Overall aesthetic most appealing to me, but all of the entries were awesome nonetheless, and too bad GhostBazz didn't make the cut, probably would've voted for it - really loved the vocals on the intro and the beat throughout.
