Can you clarify:
Just the opening drum breaks on A & B, not the melodic material?

There’s a better quality version of the main song here

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CPWzOBEHGLo

Even though it’s more hissy

yo
i've had a funday sunday with this.

again on bandcamp, because soundcloud said the song was "waiting for tonight" by Enrique Iglesias! not kidding.

i used a frackle of the second drums as a roll in the drumloop.
For the beat i used drum example A fully. you can listen to the some of the steps to mody the drums at 0:23-0:34. to fatten them up i took the subsonic.
for the reverbbreak i used the thin and uneffected drums.

aah, yeah, used the tamba4 sample. i like the band, didn't know before. started with a loop at 1:44 and later took the first obvious seconds of "flower girl".

vocals are murs pitched down from song "3:16"

then i added three piano notes from a synth. and a little simple bass melody to fill it up.

at the start in the middle and at the end you can hear some fieldrecordings from pilio in greece, birds, goats and tractor..

i made a quick arrangement with the sequencer, everything on 83 bpm, and was puzzled when i reached exactly 2:30 minutes.

have fun.

Took the drums off João Donato & Eumir Deodato track, basic kick/snare, and resampled playing a beat, adding hihat with delay accordingly - then I resampled that entire take adding FX (mostly delay, filter and djfx looper) to create a 2-3 min long drum track.
Didn't use the sequencer, because I don't really like SP's, plus it felt more natural this way.
Recorded the bass directly into a laptop via basic soundcard (steinberg C1), added a wee bit of compression.
Took the two chords off the sample track (Tamba 4), loaded them into the SP and recorded a take directly while playing with the vinyl sim (left it on all the way throughout the track, felt like it adds a bit to the atmosphere)
Recorded a 12 string guitar theme, loaded it into the SP and then chopped it and EQ'd it a bit before recording a take.
Recorded my friend playing didgeridoo(and singing), and chopped what seemed to be the most interesting parts, loaded them into the SP and recorded a take.
Did a little of panning (just the piano sample theme and 12 string guitar basically), a bit of compression and that's it.
Took me about three to four hours I think.

been awhile... nice samples!

https://soundcloud.com/tenaciousted/spbb-280

i used all the samples.. i used the haiti one and slowed down a certain part at the beginning and it turned out to sound like a creeky door so i went with that and then used the c.canceler to make the bass and snare drums from the first drum sample.. i used some of my own vox throughout that i recorded and also the intro/ breakdown are those same vocal samples that i made. and then devin the dude for fun

-for the intro just used some sounds inrecorded with internal mic, think it was a glass bottle with something clinking around inside
-used a small snippet of the main sample for the main loop
-used drums A throughout and B for the scratching type sound about mid way through
-Also used minilogue for the spacey filtered echoey sounds throughout
-played bass guitar over the top of the whole thing

I made a "classic" beat (I'll try to upload it) then I was like "eh, let's out of the comfort zone, that's too regular" so I made an other beat.
Drums from A (nothing from B I think  )
Drum pattern + sample [vinyl sim: on] -> rec on tape
tape -> rec on SP [vinyl sim: on]
c.canceler on the whole beat (turning knobs) [resample]
reverb (turning knobs)
Vinyl sim X2
The intro, it was when I went outside with the dog, I recorded this with the iphone SE (me walking in a path + necklace noise) -> delay + reverb

Here ya go:

https://soundcloud.com/l_i_f/nogoodies-spbb280/s-D4XOI

Pitched, chopped and processed samples and drums on the 808, put parts together on the 555; added bass and synth by EXT resample on 303 with some vinyl/comp for glue. Mastered in Adobe Audition with some eq from my favourite EQ VST, BootEQ and Normalised.

I don't usually upload 4 minute beats for battles, so excuse the indulgence!
