Man samplers must be going the way of the dinosaur !!!

Ohh I have begged Roland to make a new sampler. I send them an email every year about it, I also express the amount I would gladly pay.

Basically give us a SP-808 in Akai MPX16 form factor with a larger screen. Hell give us a sp808 in a Akai LIVE with that beautiful 7 inch touch screen. And with a matching Akai's pad responsiveness(Akai rules in this dept but nothing else)

And most importantly finish the damn product , don't give us half ass finished products like for example : Korg Electribe, the Akai MPX16, mc909 and whatever other one I forgot.

SP-404A = Perfect sampler! Bahahahahahaha

Had Roland included Monitoring while recording and a way to record patterns as samples the 404SX would be dam near perfect for me. If that was possible you literally could record full songs on it. Both options are easily fixed by adding a looper or other bounce option but one could dream.

I agree that the perfect sampler starts with the DNA of an SP-808!!!
